Things are sure heating up in Davids Kingdom!  His son attempted a coup, there's other intrique afoot - is YOUR life this exciting?  If your walking with the King of Kings it ought to be!  LOTS of good reading this week - don't give up now - the BEST stuff is yet to come!

It would be VERY tempting at this point to "skip" things, for after all, we do not live according to the Old Testament laws and ways.  BUT DON'T DO IT!  As Romans 15:4 so eloquently points out, the stuff in the Old Testament gives us deeper understanding and knowledge into what makes US tick!  By understanding David the Kings heart toward God, we can gain insight into ourselves!
It's all about the learning and growing!  Enjoy the great stories this week as YOU continue to live YOUR story out before the Lord!
