Are we Walking in the Miraculous?

SHOULD we be walking in the miraculous?  When you are a Follower of Jesus Christ, what should your "life" look like?  Should it look just like your neighbors lives, except Sunday mornings?  Should everything we put our hands to instantly prosper?  Should everything go smoothly - or it means we've sinned and God is no longer for us, but against us?  And if God smoothed the whole walk way for us, where would be our faith, or any need for faith?  Should it be a life punctuated by momentary "moves" of God while maintaining a fairly steady flow of "normal"?  Are we accepting LESS than Gods best for our lives because we've grown accustomed to it?  Do we have a right to expect miracles and signs and wonders regularly - in our everyday lives, not just when we're attending a "worship service"?  What is Gods expectations for us?

These are legitimate questions, and as we are reading through the Bible in approximately chronological order this year, I am seeking answers and am pleasantly SURPRISED at much of what I'm finding!

Abram lived miraculously, actually VISITED by the Angel of the Lord on several occasions and having long meaningful conversations!  In between?  It appears he went about his business, living his life, loving his family, making his errors, being corrected, working his fields and caring for his flocks.  Sounds like mundane everyday life, same as us, doesn't it?  What was the difference?  I think it was the constant and ever present ANTICIPATION in his heart for the things of God.

This blog is not intended to give you all the answers or to answer all the questions.  It's intended to get us thinking, get us considering, get us to dialog  about these things.  Get us involved with one another!  We are the Body of Christ, if we have confessed Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Call yourself what you like:  Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian or ANY OTHER DENOMINATIONAL NAME.  We are Brothers and Sisters, ONE in the Body, ONE in the Family of God - and UNITED we are STRONG!

THE UNITY PROJECT exists to inspire that cause.   "LIKE" our FB page @ https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Unity-Project/267055973349541

Get involved!  And whatever you do;

                                           MAKE IT COUNT FOR CHRIST!

Blessings!  www.turnthetideministries.com
