Week Four- January 22 - 28

Genesis 30 -31 SUNDAY
Genesis 32 - 34 MONDAY
Genesis 35 - 37 TUESDAY
Genesis 38 -40 WEDNESDAY
Genesis 41 -42 THURSDAY
Genesis 43 - 45 FRIDAY
Genesis 46 - 47 SATURDAY

Did anyone else notice that Abraham obeyed God IMMEDIATELY?  When God said "Here's the sign of the covenant between us."  Abraham didn't wait even ONE day - he immediately had every male circumcised!  Same thing when God required a sacrifice.  NO HESITATION!  Abraham made the arrangements and WENT in obedience.  Why do we hesitate?  Put out "fleeces", and require 3 or 4 "confirmations?
Oh, that we would OBEY with the same immediacy as Abraham, and KNOW the blessing of God as a result!!
